A favorite of little theater-goers, the Puppet Showplace Theatre is a perfect place to introduce your children to the world of make believe. Puppets of all kinds are part of wonderfully imaginative shows. The theater boasts a resident company but also hosts many guest troupes. Performances are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 3pm. Shows are recommended for children five and older. Preschoolers ages 3-5 are treated to shows especially for them on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am (and on Sundays at 1pm in the summer); a lifesaver when you need a morning of entertainment. Tip: Popular shows tend to sell out early. Reservations are recommended.
